This person provides clinical leadership to Residential and Foster Care Programs.  He/she must have strong organizational skills, advanced clinical skills, and ability to multitask.  This person supervises clinical coordinators and therapists as needed.  This person also oversees the program clinical budgets, provides 24-hour consultation and crisis intervention.  This person must have the ability to collaborate with a multitude of personnel and external contacts.

Job Function:
Manages and directs clinical programing through planning, organizing, monitoring, problem solving, decision-making and supervising to develop and provide quality clinical services as identified through the agency strategic plan, program plans, contracts, applicable licensing and accreditation standards.

Job Qualifications:

- Master’s Degree in social service or behavioral science field
- Three years successful full-time experience in a clinical, educational, residential or treatment environment related to behavior disordered and emotionally disturbed children and their families
- Supervisory experience preferred
- LCSW or LCPC required
- Effective leadership and clinical skills
- Commitment to agency mission
- High level of professional skills
- Strong organizational, oral, and written communication skills
- Ability to work effectively within a management team framework
- Dependability
- Demonstrated sensitivity to cultural and individual differences in children and families served
- Ability to handle job-related matters in a professional, diplomatic and confidential manner
- Ability to organize and execute responsibilities in an independent manner
- Vision, hearing and speaking ability which allows for effective communication of information
- Ability to transport self and clients to various locations
- Ability to pass DCFS driving requirements
- Ability to physically restrain clients
- Physical and emotional stamina to effectively handle job related stress
- Ability to physically move kids items, some heavy items to apartments (ie. Furniture, etc.)
